Tips for Viewing/Savings Photos

Viewing Photos:

After using the links above to go to the photo album pages, click on an album name to bring up thumbnail copies of the pictures in that album. A single click on a thumbnail will bring up a larger size for viewing. A single click on the larger size will bring up the next picture in the album.

Next to the upper right hand corner of the larger size pictures, there are navigation links to the previous and next pictures in that album.

Saving Photos:

If you would like to save a copy of a picture to your hard drive, click on the link just below the picture that says "Get Original Uploaded Photo." Once the picture has loaded on your screen, RIGHT click on the picture and select "Save Picture As..." Use the default folder "My Pictures" or browse to another folder, give the picture a name in the "File name" box, then type ".jpg" immediately after the name (or select .jpg in the "Save as type" box). The picture will be saved to your folder and you can then open it, print it, crop it or modify it in any photo editing software.

Emailing Photos:

Most of the photos on this web site are large files and do not email very well. If your want to email some of these photos to others, I have found this method works well if you use Microsoft XP. Save the photos to a folder on your computer as described above in Saving Photos. Open the "My Pictures" folder or the folder where you saved them. Make sure that the "File and Folder Tasks" box on the left hand side of the screen is showing. If not click on "View" in the tool bar, then click on "Explorer Bar". Then click on "Folders" to uncheck it. Select the photo(s) you want to email, then click "E-mail this file" in the "File and Folder Tasks" box. The "Send Pictures via E-mail" opens, select the "Make all my pictures smaller" option, then hit OK. Under the "Choose Profile" hit OK. This should bring up an email message ready to send. Type the recipients email address in the "To" line, type them a message, then hit "Send."

Keep in mind that the emailed photos are reduced in size. They will look fine for viewing on a computer screen, but if you want to print them, you should use the full size downloaded photo.
